Our Counselling & Somatic Therapy Team comprised of Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC), Registered Social Worker (RSW), and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) and Health Practitioner. In an Integrative Somatic Therapy session, we utilize a range of body-oriented practices alongside talk therapy to ensure that your healing journey is self-paced and feels safe to help you let go of emotional & physical burdens to develop a heathier way of connecting and relating to self and others with Clarity and Openness, and Heart.

Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (ISTP) allows you to connect to felt sense; deep intuitive experience of body sensations, emotions, movements, and energy. In the sessions, we start with breathing, sensed into your body's movements to determined areas of tension held in the body. We use the wisdom of yoga to relax and ground the body, connect to your internal resources for deep emotional and physiological releases.

Please wear comfortable clothing so that you can stretch and move in the session. We offer pure essential oil for mindfulness practice, please let us know at beginning of the session if you are sensitive or allergic to essential oils.

Problems that can help with psychotherapy include coping with stressful life events, the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss such as the death of a loved once, and specific mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety. Counselling and Psychotherapy is offered with individuals, family, and couples.

I invite you to practice a few deep breaths as you reflect on aspects of your journey that led you to this page. Have you been feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed? Exhausted or drained? Perhaps seeking to learn new coping tools or wanting to develop your self-care practices? When we bottle up emotions and feel disconnected to both ourselves and others it can be difficult to access healing, recovery, and growth. Counselling can provide a space to press pause from busyness or turmoil. Seeking a safe space to rest. reflect, and to feel restored.

In our sessions, I will provide a safe space for you to feel heard and accepted. As we build our connection, I offer evidence-based tools and guidance crafted to meet your needs and goals. Sessions may also include body-based practices for relaxation or the release of stored trauma. Virtual and in-person sessions are available for teens, adults, and groups.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Integrative Somatic Therapist, Registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher, and certified in Ayurvedic Nutrition. Trauma can become present in the body in a variety of ways; witnessing a violent or horrific event(s), car accidents, surgeries, serious sports injury(ies), being a soldier or civilian in war, being a first responder, being trafficked, as well as survivors of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (ISTP)™ addresses trauma that shows up in the body, causing ailments that appear to have no medical rationale.

(ISTP)™ will holistically guide you through your healing process to recover your “inner compass.” You become empowered by learning techniques such as relaxation using the wisdom of yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, bodywork, and Somatic body-oriented processing. Once the trauma is released into consciousness, you are guided to process and integrate using talk therapy to resolve the trauma.

We work together in an attuned away to release trauma and suffering. Through this method, you restore your inner compass (wisdom) to become conscious, mindful and ultimately - heal. All of this is done in a safe and welcoming environment where you will feel seen and heard.

This will be the most loving gift you will ever give to yourself. Relief is only a session away.
