I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC in private practice. I bring over 16 years of extensive experience in the mental health and personal growth fields. I practice from a trauma-informed lens to provide a warm and welcoming space. I work with adults, groups and facilitate workshops for individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, low-mood or depression, relationship challenges, grief and loss. I also provide therapy for pain and stress management particularly after an accident or trauma or due to being a first responder. I offer mentoring and intuitive life coaching. I provide counselling in English and Spanish. I use a holistic and integrative approach to counselling that includes mindfulness, breath work, resiliency enhancement and other evidence-based modalities. I have specialized training in Trauma Therapy and Integrative Somatic Therapy (ISTP)™ I facilitate your understanding of the connection between your mind-body-and-emotions in order to help you heal. My role as a therapist is to empower you to take back your life and live it as fully as you can. Trauma can become present in the body in a variety of ways; witnessing a violent or horrific event(s), car accidents, surgeries, serious sports injury(ies), being a soldier or civilian in war, being a first responder, being trafficked, as well as survivors of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (ISTP)™ addresses trauma that shows up in the body, causing ailments that appear to have no medical rationale.
(ISTP)™ will holistically guide you through your healing process to recover your “inner compass.” You become empowered by learning techniques such as relaxation using the wisdom of yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, bodywork, and Somatic body-oriented processing. Once the trauma is released into consciousness, you are guided to process and integrate using talk therapy to resolve the trauma.
We work together in an attuned away to release trauma and suffering. Through this method, you restore your inner compass (wisdom) to become conscious, mindful and ultimately - heal. All of this is done in a safe and welcoming environment where you will feel seen and heard.

Perhaps seeking to learn new coping tools or wanting to develop your self-care practices? When we bottle up emotions and feel disconnected to both ourselves and others it can be difficult to access healing, recovery, and growth. Counselling can provide a space to press pause from busyness or turmoil. Seeking a safe space to rest. reflect, and to feel restored.
In our sessions, I will provide a safe space for you to feel heard and accepted. As we build our connection, I offer evidence-based tools and guidance crafted to meet your needs and goals. Sessions may also include body-based practices for relaxation or the release of stored trauma. Virtual and in-person sessions are available for teens, adults, and groups.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Integrative Somatic Therapist, Registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher, and certified in Ayurvedic Nutrition.
